I moved to the White Settlement area at the age of 4 in 1979. I attended West Elementary from grades K to 5, Brewer Middle School from 6 through 8 and Brewer High from 9 to 12. I graduated from Brewer in 1993. After high school I attended Tarleton State University and played college football for three years. I later transferred to the University of Texas at Arlington earning a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. After completion of my degree I started teaching CATE classes at Brewer High in fall of 1999. While teaching at Brewer I went back to school to earn a master’s degree at TCU in school administration in 2003. The summer of 2005 I moved to Delaney Elementary in Kennedale ISD as the Vice Principal and spent seven years serving the community of Kennedale. I moved back to White Settlement ISD in the summer of 2012 as the principal of Liberty Elementary.
I am married with two beautiful girls, Trinity and Lyla. My wife is Laura Dickinson and she has been a counselor at Brewer High School for 7 years. Laura and I have been married for 12 years. Our family attends and is members of Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth. In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors either fishing, camping, or hunting. I also love to spend time with my family traveling either in the states or abroad in other countries. My personal passion is working with kids and helping them find their true potential. I feel called to the profession of education and feel like we all have a responsibility to give back to the communities that gave us so much. I feel blessed to be able to work with such a fine faculty and staff at Liberty Elementary and proud to be a Brewer Bear.
