We were honored to have the Mayor of White Settlement, Mr. Faron Young, visit Liberty and speak to students about his role as mayor and local government as our 5th graders have been learning about our incredible United States government system! Students have been learning how to distinguish between national, state, and local governments and compare their responsibilities in the U.S. federal system. Recently, they each wrote a letter to their own state senator. Thank you, Mr. Molinar and Mayor Young, for visiting our campus!
